Getting Started With Canning

Canning and preserving are two things that are very close to my heart. I love growing a big Summer garden and then spending the last of Summer and beginning of Fall canning the harvest. I wanted to post a few things to get anyone interested started. It is worth the effort...trust me. If you don't want to plant a garden? Or you don't have the space? Find some local Farm Markets in your area and check out what is in season. If you don't want to start with canning? Then start with dehydrating and freezing. You would be surprised how much you can do. But for now? Lets start with the beginning steps of canning and then we can move onto dehydrating and freezing.
