Pickles! Pickles! Pickles!

I love homemade Dill Pickles. Jars stuffed with garlic and crunchy pickles just waiting to be eaten with everything from sandwiches to hamburgers. The best time to make pickles is of course when the Cucumbers are in season. Make sure you use the smaller pickling Cucumbers for best results. The recipes include pickled beets, beans, peppers, and many more to get you started! For me personally? I think pickling is a great way to start preserving and canning. Its easy and pretty fail proof. You can also make Freezer Pickles if you would like to skip the canning process altogether. The choice is of course yours.
